Medio June 2011 this has started the durian fruit season in the province of West Kalimantan. Durian origin Anjungan and Sintang already on sale at several streets in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, June 16, 2011. In this province there are species durien the largest in Indonesia (about 16-18) and then followed by Sumatra (5 species), then Java, and that at least there is in Bali, Lombok and Sulawesi. I eat the most of short needles (like jakfruit spines), and the small size of the fruit. Just like durian Bali, one piece of fruit/ seeds, tastes good, but the flesh is rather thin and not easily separated from the seeds when I bite it... but, instead kepuhunan (Dayak Paser/ Banjar said); aka just to feed my passion. The price is Rp25,000 for 2 pieces.
